Privacy Policy

1. What Data Does This App Collect?

We do not collect any personal data. Time Tracker operates entirely offline on your device.

❌ What We DO NOT Collect:

• No email addresses or names
• No location data
• No contact lists
• No photos, files, or documents
• No device identifiers (IMEI, MAC address, etc.)
• No usage analytics or crash reports
• No advertising data

✅ What Is Stored (Only on Your Device):

• Tasks you create (title, description, due dates)
• Time log entries (duration, notes)
• App preferences (dark/light mode, notification settings)

This data never leaves your phone or tablet. It is stored locally using the app's internal storage and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

2. No Account Required

Time Tracker does not require you to create an account or sign in. There are no usernames, passwords, or authentication systems. This means:

• We cannot identify you
• We cannot link your data to you
• Your data stays private on your device
• Uninstalling the app permanently removes all your data

3. No Internet Connection Required

Time Tracker works completely offline. The app does not:

• Send any data over the internet
• Upload your tasks to any server
• Use cloud backup or sync
• Load remote content or ads

If your device has an internet connection, Time Tracker will not use it for any data transmission related to your tasks or personal information.

4. Third-Party Services

Time Tracker does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics providers, advertising networks, or cloud platforms. The app uses no external SDKs that collect data.

Third-party libraries used: The app is built on .NET MAUI and the Nalu.Maui UI library. These are open-source UI frameworks that do not collect or transmit any personal data from your device.

5. Notifications and Permissions

Time Tracker may request notification permission only if you enable task reminders. This permission is optional and can be revoked anytime in your device settings. No notification data is sent to any server.

6. Children's Privacy

Time Tracker does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Since the app collects no data whatsoever, no special restrictions apply. However, we recommend parental supervision for any app usage by young children.

7. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored only on your device, you can delete all your data at any time by:

• Uninstalling the Time Tracker app, OR
• Clearing the app's storage via your device's Settings → Apps → Time Tracker → Clear Storage

We cannot delete your data remotely because we never have access to it in the first place.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If we ever update this privacy policy, the "Last Updated" date at the top will change. We will also notify you via an in-app notice when you open the app after an update. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically.

Given that the app collects no data, any future changes will only clarify or further restrict data collection — never expand it.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete from our side. You have complete control over your data directly within the app on your device.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to know what personal information is collected about you. Time Tracker collects no personal information, so there is nothing to disclose.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requires transparency about data processing. Since Time Tracker processes no personal data and transmits nothing to any server, we are fully compliant. No consent is needed because no data leaves your device.
